Advocacy is an important aspect of Purdue Habitat for Humanity. We need to raise our voices to advocate for the elimination of poverty housing and provide modest, affordable homes to people in need. The Purdue Chapter usually hosts one advocacy event each semester to spread awareness on campus:
- Shack-a-thon (Fall semester)
- Act! Speak! Build! Week (Spring semester)
Check out each event in detail on its own page! (Accessible from the drop down list under the Advocacy tab.)
We also have tabling events throughout the year. We will be at CL 50 all day handing out FREE hot chocolate or lemonade. Please stop by and chat with us! This semester the dates are: 2/17, 3/07, 3/20, 3/23, and 3/29.
